Brenda Davis
Founder
Brenda is a highly skilled and respected expert in band instrument repair, specializing in woodwind, brasswind, non-fretted stringed instruments, and percussion. She is a 1986 graduate of Western Iowa Tech Community College, where she earned her diploma in Band Instrument Repair, and later expanded her expertise with advanced violin repair training at Davis & Elkins College in 2006.
Tina Devers
Tina began her journey in instrument repair in 1994 as an apprentice under the guidance of Brenda Davis. Over the years, she has developed exceptional skills and a strong foundation in repair techniques. After taking time to pursue other ambitions, we’re proud to have welcomed Tina back to Brenda’s Shoppe in 2015, where she continues to bring expertise and dedication to every repair.
Ricky Davis
Honing his craft since 1992, training through an apprenticeship under Brenda Davis, he specializes in brass instrument repair, including dent removal, soldering, valve and piston repair, and complete cleaning and restoration. In addition to his brass expertise, Ricky also performs non-fretted string instrument service, handling everything from bridge replacements and re-stringing to crack repairs and full maintenance.
Our team consists of three highly trained instrument repair technicians with over three decades of combined experience in the band instrument repair industry.
